Starhotels President - Genoa

Had a blast with my friends! We visited the fantastic aquarium and enjoyed some local culinary events. The place was super clean, and the staff was friendly. Just a heads up, parking costs around €25 per day. Would recommend skipping breakfast and exploring nearby options instead.

The shower was in a tub, which wasn't my favorite setup. It.

The hotel is right in the city centre.. Very convenient. Rooms are big, clean, comfortable.

All staff was pleasant except for this one guy who never wiped the snooty look off his face. We had to stand in front of him 10 mins to hand over our keys every time we stepped out, because he would just refuse to acknowledge you were standing there, and just pretend to look too busy to pay attention at you. It was like he was doing you a big favour by servicing you.

Very nice room, great bed. Excellent breakfast and the possibility to by WiFi in the room for 11 euro is attractive. Staff of this hotel is so nice and helpful.

Location was good for me as it was just a walk away from the conference I attended.

In these economic times, I believe I should have been given my last stays night money back as I left early! Tis would have been what I call customer care, it would have gone a long way in my decision to return next year when I attend another conference, I will now look at other possible hotels.

Location & connectivity

Advertised as an airconditioned hotel.! But as I was there in November it was switched off! Room was particularly warm - had to get housekeeping to get a special key to open the window to let in the fresh air. Lot of work going on on this particualr floor.

Staff were friendly and helpful very clean

1/ A washcloth in the bathroom would have been appreciated. 2/ hot breakfast items were repetitive and therefore boring. It would have been better to vary from scrambled eggs to omelettes, eggs Benedict, crepes, etc. The bacon seemed old as if from the previous day. 3/ fresh baked buns and focaccia were very good. 4/ directions to a local post office were incorrect or incomplete as I never found it, despite asking locals in the area.

Its location, close to the fair ground where I was directed. Breakfast.

Reception staff: unfriendly, confusing and quite assertive.

Functional and reasonably large room with good size bathroom was enjoyable. The breakfast was satisfactory with scrambled eggs and enough options for those who have special diet requirements, as example, you will not be disappointed.

the complete hotel was ok for us. The rooms were nice, the bed was big, the bathroom was well cleaned, ... We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Maybe the price of the internet. Wifi was free in the lounge, but only for 30min and the speed was very very slow. For wifi in the room they asked 11€/day which is very much. Also on the TV there were no standard european channels so most were Italian. If you pay, you can chose extra channels or movies.

New-fashioned functional room with a good size bathroom. Fantastic service provided with smiles.

They provide standard good condition for stay as other hotel nets do. It is situated close to one of the most beautiful city street xx Septembre wich is full of different shops. But it is at the end of the street and you need to walk alot.

It is situated far from the main city places.

It is well located, and a guest can walk to the city centre, and historical sites. Transport is readily available form that location, and there is a train station nearby. The hotel is top class and very good.

On the one day when there was a group, all guests were treated like part of the group during breakfast, which was not the case on other days of my stay there.

It is located minutes to the central rail station and located in a nice area

It is a lovely place to spend your time in awesome city
